Castaways has sat at the top of St. Lawrence Gap since 2016 — an oceanfront restaurant built around one simple idea: the best view on the south coast deserves food and service to match.

We’re locally owned and female owned and operated, and we’ve never wanted to be the biggest place in the Gap — just the one you remember. Two floors of tables sit right over the water, the upper floor open to the breeze, with most seats looking straight out at the bay. When the sun drops, the whole room turns gold.
The kitchen leans Caribbean and seafood with a global twist — fresh catch of the day, stone-baked pizza, with vegan and gluten-free options too. The bar takes its sours seriously, with a different one half-price every day of the week. None of it is complicated. It’s just done with care, by people who live here.
